The company is “extremely pleased” to have received the prestigious European Seal of e-Excellence award, Paul Gafa, said chief technology officer at 2X Software. He believes this latest award proves that the company’s technology is at the center of excellence in meeting the demands of the European market.
The company accepts the award as a symbol of its good practice within the ICT sector, and it looks forward to always improving its strong technological foundation, according to Gafa.
Developer of the award winning 2X ApplicationServer XG, the company via its flagship product enables its users to experience the full benefits of desktop virtualization and improve desktop manageability, security, accessibility and performance as it provides virtual desktops and applications to Windows, Linux, Mac, Android (News - Alert) and iOS, from any virtualization platform.
Thanks to ApplicationServer XG, virtual desktops and applications can be delivered from a central location. Company officials said that for administrators, this provides continuous availability, resource-based load balancing and complete end-to-end network transparency.
In addition to delivering virtual destops and applications to any mobile and desktop device, the product also supports all major hypervisors from Microsoft (News - Alert), VMware, Citrix and more and integrates powerful universal printing and scanning functionality.
Company officials said that it cloud-enables virtual desktops and applications via 2X Cloud Portal and also supports thin clients -- HP, Wyse, 10ZiG -- and the device-independent 2XOS.
2X Software is a provider of virtual desktop and application delivery, remote access and cloud computing solutions.
Earlier in January, the company announced the appointment of Scott Sims as sales director for worldwide. He is in charge of further developing 2X's worldwide sales processes and activities, ultimately growing the company's global footprint.
